The best guides in the business

Stukels Guide Staff,2024

This is a "hands-on" family outfit with a major emphasis on personal attention and service.  Frank, his three sons, daughter in-law, brother-in-law and close family friend Justin have many years of experience and continue to handle the bulk of the hunts.  We make sure that every detail is tended to, from your arrival to your departure.

The success of our business depends on your satisfaction  with every aspect of the hunt - not just your results in the field. We take pride in our ability to provide every guest with the experience of a lifetime and we've made a lot of great friends along the way.

Frank Stukel

Frank has well over 1,000 days in the field over 40 years of guiding.  If it can happen, he's seen it!  Be sure to ask for the stories behind some of his amazing North American taxidermy specimens in the lodge.

Ben Stukel,2024_1

Ben has been going along on hunts since he was six years old. He's great at planning your hunts and brings an amazing set of pointing and flushing dogs to the field.

Sky Stukel,2024

Sky is an experienced guide who is outstanding with customer service.  No one can carry more birds and manage more dogs at one time!

Alexander,2024_22.jpg

Michael classes up the staff with some English charm.  He has been traveling from his home in the UK to spend the entire season with us for a decade now.

Sam Stukel

If you hunt with Sam you're likely to be featured in our advertising and social media.  In addition to running a dog or two, he'll often be packing a couple cameras in the field.

Justin Johnson

Justin is a family friend going back to the start of it all in 1981.  He's been helping as a guide for 20 years.  Watch out for his sneaky sense of humor!

Pierce Stukel,2024

Like the generation before him, Pierce has grown up in the business. His role expands each year. In addition to helping out with the guiding, he puts in lots of long evenings cleaning and packaging pheasants.
